When deployed as part of a software-defined networking (SDN) solution, the NSP supports unified service automation and network optimization across IP, MPLS, Ethernet and optical transport layers. SR OS enables model-driven management using YANG-based models for automation. Model-driven management interface support includes NETCONF, gRPC (gNMI and gNOI) and the model-driven CLI (MD-CLI).
